I so very much enjoyed your performance in Hartford @ First Night! It's only now that I've had chance to check your website and am delighted to know of your upcoming gig in Stafford on 1/31! Look forward to being there and hearing you again! "Connecticut Skies" really touched my heart, "blah, blah, blah" and your piece about being stopped by the cop warmed me with joy and laughter. Lara, That song, 'Drive' is excellent. In August I drove from Pennsylvania to Aspen, CO and it was so fine. I got to know the steering wheel like you mention. Thanks a lot. I'm looking to do some house concerts too.

Folk Alley's Open Mic did me a great favor by introducing me to your music. I've particularly enjoyed the "Random Thoughts" section of your web site. Would that these random thoughts were seen more as random "truths" and guides for living, we all might be in a better place.
Anyway, I just wanted to express my appreciation for who you are, and for what you're doing. The last hour I spent listening to you on Folk Alley has been warm and wonderful. I'm sure my freinds and family are going to to en enjoy as much as I have.

Hi Lara -- I've lived in Florida for 4 years now and, believe me, living here has helped me appreciate what I no longer have. Remember that burning smell in late October when fireplaces came to life? Remember the sassiness and sarcasm that wafted its way up from New York and elsewhere? Remember real Christmas trees and houses large enough to absorb their radience? Remember the short-hand we spoke but everyone understood? Connecticut was never bland. People were sharp and motivated. Remember when keeping up with your landscaping really meant just keeping your grass cut? I remember how we shook our heads about the state of public education. Well, I've learned that CT has a lot to be proud of. Most of all, I miss my friends who will remain in CT.

I listened to Juror Number 13 this morning on my commute to work and I was utterly speechless. My heart was full, my eyes were welled...What an incredible piece of work this is.
